I am a mystery shopper, take surveys, rate products, & participate in focus groups. I do all of these things through the internet & email offers. It is not unusual for me to receive several offers for my servicesvia the internet or email on any given day.
I receivedan offeron my computer inviting me receive a new designer fragrance at $0 cost to me, just pay the shipping & handling charge of $5.99. The ad stated that I would receive "Seduction" by Christiano Dolce for men or women for the $5.99, that the item would ship next day guaranteed, & finally it was due here before Christmas. On the same day, 12-20-10, I received a confirmation email stating that my credit card had been charged $5.99 for the shipping & handling of this product. I verified this transaction through my bank & everything looked OK.
The box arrived on 12-28-10. The box had a fragrancecalled "SILENCE" for men in it, a small note thanking be formy order which had acall center phone number, & the statement "WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING YOUR FEEDBACK!". Nothing was ever mentioned about returns or additional charges. On 1-4-11my charge card was charged $95.00 & $. 76 called an over the border fee. I calledthe Call Center aboutthe charge & I was told the item was ONLY returnable 10 days from the purchase date, which we know has already passed!!! I do not accept this & plan to take further action.
