PC Tools will automatically renew the license on theresoftware even if you dont give them permission, using old authorization codesthat may not have even been for that product. I purchased a registry cleaner in December and at that time I didnt authorize an auto renewal. Then againI parched an anti-virus product in March. I shortly found out that thesoftware was substandered and caused software to hardware problumes. Being thatI parched the product and didnt do enough research on the soft ware I took responsibilityfor my mistake and knew in a year that I would switch. I received an e-mail onDec 4 telling me that I was up for auto-renewal witch was a surprise sense I didntagree to that in the first place.
At the time I was 2 day post-op from having 2pound of titanium add to my spine from a previous injury. I was discharged fromthe hospital on the 6 of Dec. On Dec 7 I was able to check me e-mail for thefirst time sense going into the hospital and finding all out. I went to thereweb site and logged in to find that they had singed me up for auto-renewal on bothproducts. I immediately modified the account to reflect that I was not going torenew a substandard product. On the 9 of Dec they charged my card, that wasexpired with the wrong bill to address and the wrong security code, using a previousbank authorization code for a different product punches in March. I contacted customerservice and was told that billing will notify me in 1 to 2 days and that the problemwill be resolved. They have not responded to any more correspondence and Imstill short my money.in SHORT THEY LIE AND STEAL.
