I have been purchasing items from Shopgoodwill for 4 or 5 years. And have spent thousands of dollar. Almost everyone I've talked to I have mentioned Shopgoodwill and told them to check it out for great deals. And in the beginning they were great deals.
About two yers ago I began to notice shipping costs were going up along with service charges and handling fees. Also the starting bids began to go up. One store I complained to via e-mail and have stopped purchasing from them.
Then I noticed they were taking camera outfits and selling each piece individually. Of course, each piece had it's own service charge and handling fee. Now they have begun taking the lens off a cameras and the each separately.
I sent several e-mails complaining about the practice and reminding them that the items they were selling were donated to them and that they should be ashamed of themselves.
This morning I wanted more information about an item, I recieved a message saying that my e-mail was blocked. I went to a couple other items at other stores and tried to e-mail them. All my e-mails were blocked.
I can understand the fact that they are in it to make a profit. And I don't have a problem with that. I just seems to me that profit has become too important.
