At first I was hooked on this site "Shopgoodwill.com, " bidding accordingly on listed items that I thought were pretty cool. Then the nightmare began as box after box started to arrive via u. S mail, Fed-ex and UPS.
As I began opening my packages, my excitement quickly turned into disbelief, which then soon turned to anger! The items which were advertised and listed for auction which were described as "vintage", ; were in fact brand new and were not vintage at all! Other items I received were different than what was listed, described and pictured in the online auction ad.
After being in business myself for many years operating with integrity! This site has no clue of what that word means! And, believe me when I say that even after an item is listed and the store which listed the item finds out that it's worth any money! I can assure you that you will in fact receive either a fake and/or replica, or the item will not arrive at all! Instead, you will be told it was "damaged in shipping!".
I have spent countless hours on the telephone with these people. I have written letters and emails, am now having to dispute some charges with my credit card company, I have went through two reams of printing paper and four ink cartridges dealing with this companies lies and bullshit! I still have boxes of stuff which costs me hundreds of dollars that are worthless because of their misleading and false advertising practices which no one wants to be accountable for.
This in not a site that I would ever recommend to my worst enemy non the less a friend! Your purchased on not protected by anyone like on other auction sites. My mother warned me as I was purchasing and of course I didn't listen! Well, let me tell you, if you don't listen, and heed the warning! You too will be as SORRY and PISSED OFF as I was and still am.
