I was called on the phone right at a time I was under pressure while trying to sell my products to new customers but they did not like PayPal. E-Commerce Exchange just happened to call at that time and said they could get me setup really fast with a what is called Virtual Terminal. I stated that I would like the Virtual Terminal but not without a shopping cart system that my customers could use if they didn't want to make phone orders.
Eric Shasha the Sales Person at that said I can get you a shopping cart for free and then he restated that he would ask his boss to make sure but he saw no reason why he could not get it free for me. Then later I talked to the Vice President by the name of Mike Miller and he told me I had to buy the cart for $100.00 after I already signed up and paid $98.00, thinking I was going to get that free shopping cart. They both knew I would not buy unless that was what came with it. I did not ask for only a phone ordering service, that is not what I wanted and they knew that. Mike was really a sky dog because I told him I could get a free shopping cart, website hosting, virtual terminal, no monthly fees if no sales were made and a $10.00 a month bank statement fee plus more with ECHO.
He said in these words that they were full of Bullshit and no way they could do this and not go bankrupt. Well to make a long story short, I bought into his lie and backed off for a little while until I really thought things over but it was to late. The scoundrels got me hook line and sinker. After I told him to cancel the account, here is what he had to say in his own words. To be quite frank with you, I am no longer interested in providing you with any kind of service. If this is the way that you conduct business, then I would prefer to not be associated with you.
He stated also that I would probably have to pay a fine of about $98.00 if I canceled and I never got any Virtual Software sent to me after I paid the money and I canceled before they sent it to me. This has only been in a 3 day period. Stay away from these con artists they are really good at working your thoughts and you fall right into their trap. These guys are the most sly dogs I have ever encountered in my life of 46 years. So sweet, nice, kind and all so helpful in screwing you over is all.
