My company received an invoice from NBIE for $414.00 in November. When I investigated this, as I learned the following:
A representative from NBIE called my office in August and stated to the person answering the phone that they needed to "update" our information for a "free listing."
The employee gave them our information, and then we started receiving harassing bills, threats of being taken to a collection agency, etc.
I refused to pay the invoice and returned their CD-ROM last November. They made harassing phone calls until I turned the matter over to my corporate attorney.
Yesterday, one year later, I received ANOTHER invoice from them for $414.00 — another fraudulent invoice and attempt to collect monies under FALSE pretenses.
