In late May, I received a call introducing me to America's Web Mall. He asked if I had $300 to invest in a home-based opportunity, and I said "Not yet" and explained that I had bills coming out shortly. He told me that I could write a bad check, since I would get that money back in record time.
After listening to the pre-recorded presentation, another salesperson came on the line, saying that the first person had to take another call, because they wanted to upgrade their number of web sites. I convinced this person to wait a couple of days, and paid $249.
Then came the real info; it seems to be a common trend. I found out that in order to maximize my return, I'd need to "invest" another $1500 for paid coaching! I couldn't do that, and am glad I didn't.
I'm still trying to get my $249 back, and haven't heard anything by mail, email or phone.
