I check my bank account this morning to find out that a company I've never heard of has taken $23.96 from my personal bank account. Though the amount of money isn't a lot, it's still my money and this company helped themselves to it. I research the company online and find their contact information and give them a call. The woman who took my call informed me that while I was applying online for a payday loan a few weeks ago (which I never even ended up taking) my information was sent to this company and signed up for their services. She cancelled my account, and when I asked if my money would be refunded she told me that my ten day grace period for refunds had already elasped. This company never sent me an email confirming my "membership" or anything.
