Surplus Alert
Ripoff & Nationwide

Surplus Alert is a rip-off company. They are hard to reach and charge your bank account in different names and dates, which is hard to protect your recurring charge by the bank system.

After the first month of membership that I didn't get anything from their website, I decided to call them up to cancel the membership, which cost $19.95 a month! It was really hard to reach them; nobody answered the phone. I called long distance from Nevada to Utah on my own expenses, waiting for almost 30 minutes, but nobody answered the phone. The next day I decided to called them again. It took at least 20 minutes and finally I reached somebody there. I told them that I wanted to cancel the membership, giving my account information. I thought I would be able to be in peace, but no!

On September 9, I got charged $19.95 by Freeblvd.com. I am quite sure I never visited such website before. I also got charged on October 6 from surplusliquidator.com. I called my bank representative to report the fraud. It turned out that both transactions are from the SAME company. The banker help me file stopping paying such recurring billing. I don't know yet in what name the company will charge me in the next circle billing.
