We've been using I-Link International for our DSL internet connection and have had the most unreliable service imaginable. At least once a week, sometimes more, we were unable to connect to the internet that we use for both important business and school educational purposes.
We were contstantly having to call the service provider (I-Link) and have them fix this problem. As you can imagine, is very frustrating and time consuming and definately not the type of service want to pay for.
Needless to say, the last call we made was the straw that broke the camels back. When trying to connect to the internet, again, no luck. So I picked up the phone and made the call to I-Link to try and get the service back up and running. The guy started to help me, then decided he'd rather give me a hard time. I believe this was due to the fact that it was almost 6:00 and time for him to go home for the night. He did not want to stick around and help.
He could obviously see that there was a problem with our service and would not help me because I didn't know the password. I did not know this because every other time it wasn't even an issue - never needed it. They usually helped us get it back up and that was the end of it. He claimed the password was needed for security purposes. What security? If he can see that a paying subscriber's service isn't working properly, why should he need a password to fix the connection?
In short, he was very rude and never fixed the problem. The following day, we made a trip to their office and cancelled the service. That was over 2 weeks ago. Now the problem is that they are not releasing some id number to our new provider so we have not yet been able to get connected. I would not recommend this service to anyone - ever!
