I also had trouble with walmart connect. I had problem connecting to my internet service in sept. So I called them. Not only did I get someone who didn't speak english well and it was hard to understand them, I was told that they cancelled me for non payment of the month of Aug.
I said to them how can this be possible when you billed me for Sept on my credit card? To make a long story short, I wind up letting them take Aug payment from my the same credit card they took September's payment.
When I checked my statement online, I noticed they charged me three times instead of two. I called them to find out what was going on. They tell me they can't see the third charge they only see two. I would have to call back the next day to make sure their system gets updated.
I called them back the next day and not only was I on hold for a long time, they tell me the same thing again and ask me to call back. I told them know I want to speak to a manager.
And after being on hold again, I speak to a manager only to get the run around. I finally call the credit card company and explain to them what happened. Even they found it fishy that they were unable to see the third charge. When two of them were made on the same day.
To make a long story short, my credit card company helped me get my money back. And I cancelled my service with them. Now I get a letter from them today begging me to come back to them. Never again.
They need to get people who you can understand when you talk to them, and they need to get their act together. Their stores are wonderful, but their internet service sticks, you get bumped off all the time!
