I placed a trial order for a beauty product (Rezvclear) and when I received the product the packing slip indicated that if I did not cancel within 14 days that I would automatically receive the product monthly. So, I immediatly cancelled the product.
However, 4 months later a company under a different name (a diet company) made two unauthorized charges to my credit card and when I called the number given to me by my bank the Call Center told me that the charges were for Rezvclear.
I explained to the Call Center that I had cancelled 4 months prior and I was told that the company "was under a transistion" and according to their records "they never received my cancellation."
I had proof of my cancellation because I had emailed it to Rezvclear and I had saved the email so the Call Center told me to "forward my cancellation and call the next day."
However, when I called the next day I was told by the Call Center that "their email department was out." I have phoned on a daily basis and I keep getting different excuses, they will not transfer me to a Manager, and they are refusing to honor my cancellation. They have laughed at my requests and I have been told by a Call Center employee that "it was my problem."
The Call Center employees are clearly involved in the consumer scam and I am interested in filing suit against the company and their employees.
