Nation's First Office Repair
Laptopmedic.com Defective Repairs and Deceptive Repair Practices and Policies

Do not use these people! The advertise on eBay to diagnose and estimate a repair any laptop for $29.99! They also have BOGUS reports posted from satisfied customers regarding repairs... These are all FALSE reports generated by their own staffers!

If you win the eBay auction and ship your laptop to them, they will exaggerate the extent of the needed repairs and attempt to get you to spend a lot more $ than is needed to repair your laptop, AND the $29.99 is NOT applied to the repair price!!...

EVERY laptop that enters their facility suddenly needs a new hard drive! They do inferior work and use refurbished or used parts in ALL of their repairs. They have no quality control testing to assure the repairs are being done correctly or expeditiously, and hire non-English speaking individuals to perform the repairs. If you have a question "Dean" the owners' brother (Rob Harvey) directs you to one of them and you eventually get so frustrated at trying to have a conversation that you hang up in disgust.

MANY repairs are done incorrectly and have to be sent back two or more times to complete the process... Items are often missing or left on workbenches when units are returned and prompt many aggravating phone calls to have missing items sent to their owners.

This business has MANY unresolved complaints against them through the Southern Nevada BBB (see http://southernnevada. BBB.org/rptrel.Asp? BBBid=53353). And it seems that since the Nevada Attorney General's office has dismantled the Consumer Fraud Complaint division of it's offices, Mr. Harvey and his band of thieves are able to continue to rip people off with impunity.

DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO THESE PEOPLE TO BE REPAIRED!!! They take advantage of the fact that the internet has provided them with a "cash Cow" of gullible consumers.
