In 2006 and 2007 we worked with Mr. Un Sub Kwon of the YE-IL International Company (Peal Guitars) to design and produce custom jazz guitars for us. We had obtained over three dozen Peal guitars from him in the past and were very happy with the quality of his instruments as well as their value so we were very excited about the prospects of Peal crafting beautiful custom instruments for us.in addition, our guitar parts business was beginning to run low on our most popular hardware and we knew that Peal carried those very parts in their official catalog. We naturally decided to have them provide us with both the custom guitars and the parts. We sent Mr. Kwon a transfer payment $1,000 deposit in December after we ironed out the specifications for the guitars and then mailed him seven Kent Armstrong pickups (a wholesale value of over $330) to use on our instruments in April.
