GetAFreelancer - Plendo AB - Ignition Networks
GAF stole my money and play with my nerves

On November 3rd, Getafreelancer.com suspended my account without notice. I have read the Terms of the website and as far as I know I haven't done anything to violate them, so I wanted to know why my account was suspended. On the same day I wrote to GAF in order to get some kind of explanations.

They wrote me back on November 5th to ask me the relation I had with another account opened on their website. The account is question belongs to my husband

I, then, sent them via email both my ID and my husband's ID

Since then they never wrote me back while they're holding USD$245 that I honestly earned during the month of October.

I would like to get my account since I didn't violate their terms and I want to get my USD$245 back.

The final problem is that they automatically extended a Gold Membership on November 12 (while my account is suspended) for a USD$12 fee! This Membership should allow me to provide a higher number of bids but I can't bid since I can't use my account since the beginning of November. Nothing stop them to steal money from their customers, it tells a lot about what kind of company I am dealing with...

"Gold status extended!
Your Gold membership on GetAFreelancer was automatically extended.
The sum of monthly fee $12 was taken from your account. An invoice has been created for this fee and can be found in the Payment Transaction log in your account."

I wrote them another ticket (12th November)
"You have suspended my account and now you dare to take 12$ off my account corresponding to an extention of a gold status! Is this a joke? I can't use my account and you don't want to answer my previous ticket! I am now going to file similar complaints with the Australian Securities and Exchange Commission and the Swedish Companies Registration Office since you are not willing to solve the issue."

And this is their answer (13th November)
"We stopped Gold membership. Please understand, both accounts can't use the same payment address for deposits. You should either change it or close one of the accounts."

They lie and have absolutely no problem with that. They advice me 1) to change the payment address for deposits, thing I can't do since I don't have access to my account anymore or 2) to close my account and say goodbye to my USD$245.

I had no choice but to file complaints with the Australian Securities and Exchange Commission and with the Swedish Companies Registration Office.
