GDP, or power-level.net, is a very blatant and insidious gold scam. They claim they have everything in stock, ready to be delivered almost instantly. However, you quickly learn that is the bait. And here comes the switch.
Upon ordering, you will get the standard gold-buying treatment. An e-mail, followed by a call from a strange masked Chinese number with a person who barely speaks garbled english, just enough to ask you a few basic questions to confirm your identity. Fairly standard, and to be expected. Now comes the interesting part.
Their website, and their own support, says that they have the quantity ordered *IN STOCK* and ready to deliver. Yet, you ordered. And they say "we are processing". You look at your card, hey! It looks like they processed it quite quickly! You rush to the chat to ask if your delivery is on the way. You are greeted by a bot, who asks you standard questions and waits about 20m between responses, only to get a message saying "we are currently gathering your order" or something to that effect.
Wait a second, gathering my order? What happened to in-stock and ready to deliver?
You then decide to hound them until they deliver. You keep going in chat, but you keep getting the exact same responses. You get tired of it, then you decide to call their phone support. Only to find out their phone support just rings forever!
That's right children, you have been scammed. So was I. To make a long story short, I hounded these people every day for a week and got the SAME LIE every time. Then TWO WEEKS LATER, I was finally delivered. Are you ready for this? I was delivered 1/4th of my total order! Two weeks later after they claimed instant delivery!!!
To this day, I still have not gotten the rest and pretty much gave up. These people, GDP, are liars and con-artists, they will take your money and deliver either NONE or a FRACTION of what you ordered. Oh, and btw, PAYPAL will NOT help you. They refuse to cover virtual items, because they are in bed with these gold scam sites. They make lots of money too on this, do not be fooled!
I was lucky and have a good bank, that took my dispute seriously and gave me my money back. Of course, the second that happened all the sudden paypal wants to talk to me. Even though they refused to all the way up until I stuck it to them.
Don't be fooled by this site, they WILL steal from you and the odds are, unless you are lucky like me, you are not gonna see any of your money or what you ordered!
