First off, I knew something was up when I replied to a posting with a well written cover letter and Mr. Bill Bernard replied with "Are you selling something or looking for employment." Technically, I was selling my attributes for a job. Nevertheless, the position was for tier 1,2 and 3 positions in Technical support. Assuming that all technicians have heard of Geek Squad as they are the largest repair service throughout US, I mentioned that I worked as a Supervisor and manager for the company.
He didn't know who or what they were. (Really should know your competition) He then told me to sign up / apply at www.computertriage.Us. After which he said he could have me up and running with my website to start advertising in no time. Lo and behold after a few emails I assessed that this guy is targeting people for some alternative motive.
After warning others about my findings his reply's became very threatening. He then began to have people email me as well. Here are a few of the comments:
"You either remove that listing or Im going to sue you. Im a legitimate business owner and you are causing a lot of trouble. Dont f* with me, remove or be sued. Ive been keeping all emails for civil action. You and your religious ethnics, by the way, there is no god."
Seems like a scam to me. Now a threatening one at that. Beware guys.
