Quote was made for a website design of $1500. I paid half down. We had one meeting and then Fred began sending lots of "excuse" emails - illnesses, servers down (he had advertised 99% UP), lost cell phone, and the list went on and on. Eventually he simply did not respond to any of my calls, emails, or even through his website.
I have since discovered that there are many more companies in this area that were "stung" by this company and he continues to advertise on Craigslist. He has been reported to the Better Business Bureau locally and has had summons served through the courts, but somehow still continues to operate. AMAZING!
I hope this will help to protect potential "victims".
