Intentional misinfortmation and non-disclosure of information to aquire monies for item that are almost worthless.
Ebay auction b y Mark Farner stated that he would sell a Windows Xp professional program for a system that did not have an operating system installed.
Amount of request was for $100.53 plus $5.00 shipping, seemed reasonable, going rate was between $90.00 and $150.00.
I had the money taken through Paypal via bank account on 5-24-03. Did not recieve the item until 6-6-03.
The item sent was a "Dell" reinstalation disk, to be used with a Dell system and not a system that did not have an OS.
I preformed a brief research on this individaul and found that he did the same thing to another Ebay consumer, with the same item.
I tried to contact this individaul via Email, giving my name and number and how to contact me, so we could come to an aggreement, no responce.
I researched his account and found his telephone number, no answer. It transfer the caller to Edgewater Beach Resort where he is the Director of banquett, cell number. Still no responce.
I have not left negative feedback, any feedback until I no that there is no alternative and this matter can not be resolved.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I do realize that $105.53 is not a lot of money to those who have money, but $100. Oo to, who is the only one working is a lot of money.
These individual shold have to pay retitution or be made to send the item that was paid for in good faith.
