Last year I purachased a computer from an auction they had on ebay. After recieving the computer I notified them about the computer not being as described in auction. I never recieved a reply from them.
The computer was described as working except for the lcd monitor.
The actual condition of the computer was much worse. There were screws missing from the computer. The computer would start but would imediately crash after a few seconds. The computer had two different ram chips installed. The processor did not match with the processor that computer was supposed to have come with. The stickers did not match with the guts of the computer. The computer was supposed to have come with a camera, it had none.
It was obvious that who ever had returned the computer to bestbuy had swapped out the insides to the computer. Dealtree should have noticed the inconsistencies, but either from neglect or fraudulence did not report them.
I had repeatedly tried to contact Dealtree with these issues but was unsuccessful. The would not agree to a squaretrade mediation or any other mediation. They only replied to me after I had left a negative with ebay. The reply I recieved was a negative stating I was a bad ebayer.
The company is very dishonest and should be avoided.
