Signing up for a 7 day trial period seemed innocent enough. I was interested in generating income from Freelance Writing.
Well, I've generated income. It's all been for them.
One hour on their sight convinced me there was nothing of interest to me. I signed off with no reason to visit again.
They began charging $47 US each month, although we missed it among the other charges on our VISA bill.
Now they are unwilling to refund money for a membership I never wanted and never used beyond that first hour. I was foolish enough to believe a trial period meant a trial period.
It's likely legal. It's unquestionably misleading and unethical.
In hindsight it has all the classic trademarks of a SCAM. Unfortunately, hindesight by definintion, doesn't happen until after the trap has sprung.
