I sent off for my free sample of Resveratrol about a month ago aprox June. I recieved a call from my bank that there was courious activity on my acc. They told me that there are on-line companies that continue to bill you every month for their products when it appears that you are just sending off for a free sample. I called the company and told them to cancel my free samples and they said they could not. The bank said that they could not stop the charge on my account for shipping as it was already authorized by me on line. I received the tablets and they sent me cream that I did not order (not sealed). The charge on my bank acc. Was$4.95 for shipping. The same day I reied to talk to someone about the order but noone answered the phone. The next day I did reach a live person and spent two hours on the phone with them as they tried to get me to their site to cancel as they said they had to be on the phone with me to walk me through the process. They said they would e-mail me and I could go the the site directly from the e-mail. The e-mail never came in. I received several e-mails that day on my computer, This morning at 7AM I received a call from them asking if the e-mail ever came through. I did not have time to spend another two hours on the phone and asked them that there needs to be another way to cancel. They then told me no that this was the only way and that the account would be continued to be open and there is already a bill in the amount of $150.00 that was sent out at the beginning of July, of which I have never received.
I am concerned about my TRW being lowered by this possible mark for non-payment. Do I need to contact my attorney to put the fear of God into their hurrendious business "crook" practices? The name of the company is really not all that clear as they work out of a shipping location and there isn't really a name on the bottle of the company just an e-mail address.
