I ordered a " Free Sample " (which cost 7.00 dollars) of resveratrol from a company called Resveratrol Ultra. They sent a sample of the product about a week later in a padded envelope. Again, I paid 7.00$ for the "sample".
About a week later, I pulled up my bank statement and saw a mysterious charge for 87.13$ from Resveratrol Ultra. I called the company and told them I had ordered the free sample, and asked why I was being charged 87.13. The customer service rep told me that I had, in fact, signed up for a monthly subscription of their product. She added that this was clearly posted on the website (lie) and she refused to debit my card back for the 87.13$. She did pseudo-graciously cancel my subscription, giving the obligatory confirmation number. I informed her that I would be contacting my bank for a claim, and also, the attorney general.
In short, this company is a criminal organization. There was nothing "clearly" posted
on the website which indicated that I was signing up for a subscription. Beware of
Resveraltrol Ultra: they are ultra-rip-off artists.
