Free Up Cash - The Unemployment Advisor
Stole money from my account!

Last week, I was balancing my check book register and comparing with my online account at Wells Fargo. I noticed that my online balance was lower, and went through my register to see where I made a mistake.
I noticed a charge for an even $30 from a FREEUPCASH. I called the number located next to the charge several times and of course it was busy.
I called my bank next, and thankfully Wells Fargo has been WONDERFUL and helped me out a lot. I started an investigation with them and promsied the bank I would press charges if they were found.
I called the number again yesterday and this time someone picked up. I was so scared/mad/nervous, I don't think I made much sense to the guy, but he said either someone got my account number and signed me up, or ANOTHER COMPANY GAVE THEM MY INFO!!! Isn't that illegal? How did that happen?

I suspect The Unemployment Advisor as the culprit since I did sign up for a free book on grants and loans. I had just quit and was thinking about getting a grant or something for additional schooling, and the book was only supposed to be $2. When I printed out the fine print, it said I would be charged an extra $69! I called 5 minutes after I ordered it online and cancelled everything.
They never charged me the $2, or $69, and I never got the book, so I thought that was the end of it.
This Freeupcash place is a totally different company and I NEVER gave permission to charge my account. I asked them what I was going to get for the $30 they took from me?"What service are you going to provide me?"
He never answered me. There was just something of a shocked silence on the other end of the line.
Do they really think, they can just skim money off of us, and we will lay down and take it?
My bank changed my credit card number and started the investigation. I don't know if I'll ever see that $30 again, but I hope they catch the crooks and nail their crooked rear ends to the wall!

Thank you to Wells Fargo for all of their help!
