What started out to be a simple sell, became a total rip off, and included damaged to a collectable postcard. Item sold, inspected at US Post Office, inserted in a Photo Document Envelope and mailed to buyer. Postman signs receipt that it was delivered on a Monday. Buyer said it arrived on Tuesday and it was open, and the card was damaged, wants his money back. The buyer states it was delivered in a completely different container that the US Postal Service Sold me and watch me place the article into, and then handed it directly to the clerk for delivery. I ask the buyer why did he sign for it, he slips up and states he had to sign nothing, he had just left his house on that morning for no more than 30 minutes, and when he returned he found the envelope. I ask why did he not call the post office and notify them that the artile was partially open. The seller files a claim with paypal for not as described, the buyer states that the has done hundred of thousands of business with paypal and that I should not be allowed to do business on Ebay. I finally agree to acept the package he returns, I can not believe it, it is a different card, it even showed where although not mailed it had been address to Watpella Il. I file a Police Report, Fax all documents, 4 days later I am notified that they believe the buyer. This buyer send me email, stating he going to start a civil law suit against me, I am 66 years old. I did email him that this was the first civil reponse I had received. Seller sends me a no subject email with jpg. I open it to see what he was threatening me with. The seller sent me nude photo's of a golfer wife, at the end he makes a comment about the guys knees. This individual I knew attack individuals, so I went on the net and ask the search engine about them, of course they were false. I notifed paypal that I am done with them, oh by the way the buyer is one of their major postcard buyer, who is listed as private. I will not lose on paypal again, they are a true ripoff.
