I have the exact same problem as Richard Chandler, Arizona U.S.A. Had reported:
"DataNumen of Hong Kong produces a software product called AOR (Advanced Outlook Repair).
This product purports to repair Microsoft Outlook database problems. The product seemed to have an unusually high purchase price of $249.00 compared to other products on the market." Quoted from Richard's report.
I tried out the "Demo" Version before I decided to buy this product.in the body of all of the emails it indicates:
"This message is processed by a demo version of Advanced Outlook Repair so the actual contents are replaced with this information.
To get the actual contents, please order the full version at:
Http://www.datanumen.com/aor/order.htm"
I am thinking at this point, WOW! I am going to get my emails back! What happened to me was, I had about 500 emails in one folder. I was deleting a Spam email, and did not realized that I had the entire Inbox folder selected. I deleted my entire Inbox! What a nightmare! I had photos and a bunch of emails saved from over the past year. So when I found this product I was excited at the thought that I could recover them. So, I took the bite. I purchased the product. Only to find that once installed, it did not recover ANYTHING! Where the message I posted above was, they were BLANK! Ugh! Hit me in the gut! And, any emails that had attachments? ALL of the attachments were corrupt. You cannot open ANY attachments!
It took several attempts to get Customer support to fianally contact me. They asked me to send them my file so that they could try to recover it. They had no luck either. I was dealing with the same person Richard was-Chen Chonwei. I have asked for a refund, and he refused. Their product provided me with absolutely NOTHING. It did not work for me. And, obviously, I am not the only one. I really want my money back for a program that is overpriced and does not work.
If you are considering this product, RUN, RUN the other direction! I wish that I would have found the other Rip-off-report before I purchased! It does not work, and they do not stand behind their product!
