Fraudulent bait and switch ripoff tactics USA

In March of I joined an online community that provides product samples from reputable companies, free of charge. They provide samples to the consumer in exchange for you providing feedback on your likes and dislikes of the product samples.

For each daily visit to the website, you earn 10 points (aka "Frequent Tryer Miles" or FTM's), you earn an additional 15 "miles" for visiitng manufactureer's websites, 20 points for providing feedback, etc. Now, these points/miles build up over time and once you reach a certain amount of "miles/points" you are awarded prizes that you can redeem your miles for. The lower end prizes begin with 1,000 points, the best prize is once you reach 10,000 miles. At this point, you can redeem your miles for a DVD player with MP3 capability.

Last weeek, I legitimately reached the 10,000 mile mark and now this company is NOT relinquishing my prize. They acknowleged that I have been a loyal member who has held up my end of the bargain, but they are saying they feel they have provided adequate loyalty to me as I have received 55 samples and 10,000 points. HELLO! What does it matter how many samples I received when in fact, I HAD TO receive them and provide feedback to earn the points to get the DVD player! And what does 10,000 points mean to me now that i can't redeem them?

I have been given the runaround that now I have to periodically check the site as they can only "randomly" offer the DVD player to members who have reached or surpassed the 10,000 mile mark. And get this... The random offer for the DVD player is ONE time per week. OWHERE does it say this in their requirements. Of course, after many e-mails, I am now getting the latest response that they can change the program at any time to suit their needs and that this program is completely voluntary.

This is PURE bull. A disclaimer they decided to add on so they don't have to fulfill their obligations. Don't even watse your time here. The samples they provide are easily accessible on many other sites and you don't have to work or provide feedback to get them.
