Sneaky addition of a charge not mentioned in the website for a "bonus." Also a non-existent email address for a refund. They now have my VISA card number and info to charge whatever they want to my account if I'm not vigilant enough on debit card charges!

I just happened to be looking at my bank statement today when I noticed 2 charges were posted to my Debit card—one for the $1.95 payment that Grants360 advertised in their web site as the fee to get help and software for applying for a US government grant. Then there was a second charge by a different creditor for $38.21. I called USBank to see what this was for. The bank did not know the actual identity of the source of the charge, but asked me if I had signed up for Grants360.com today at $1.95. I said yes, and the Bank (my bank) then gave me a customer service phone number. I called and asked what the charge was for. I was told it was for a "bonus" of software, reports, etc. That I was to receive after this one time payment of $38.21!

I said, "I didn't see anything about that on the website!" Then I quickly realized I'd been scammed and asked for $39.16 back as a refund. That was the total they had bilked me for, including the $1.95 processing charge they advertised. The woman said I would have to request a refund through an email called, [email protected]. Then she gave me a "confirmation number" that I was to put on my email to confirm I was canceling—that the account had been canceled.

Well, wouldn't ya know? The email address did not exist!!! I am now out about $40, and this crooked web site, Grants 360.com, has my debit card number with all the access info, as well as the money! I'm going to have to get a new debit card and number! And that's if I want to make sure they don't charge anything more to my account!

Just think, if they add that bonus to everyone's order, they'll clean up! Nobody will be able to get their refund, and there'll be "no clue" to the unwary customers that the loss of $40 was going to occur. Once you realize you've been had, it's too late!!!
