This has turned into a very long and arduous hassle which could have been avoided by Tiger Direct if they were truly interested in consumer satisfaction. On 2-18-09 I purchased four gigs of RAM from Tiger Direct and received the product (item #P33-5042). I installed the product and found that one of the sticks was bad. I contacted Tiger Direct and got a Return Authorization number (3633236) and promptly sent the bad stick back to Tiger Direct. I then found out that I had to send both sticks of RAM for the transaction to take place. Tiger Direct sent me a box, which contained another box inside which was prelabeled with your Return Service Label on the box. I put the good stick of RAM in the original package and then put the package in the prelabled box (that Tiger Direct sent me) and dropped it off at the local UPS pick up.
This was on March the 17th and now I'm being told that nobody at Tiger Direct, UPS or Patriot knows where the prelabled box (that Tiger Direct sent me) is! All anybody can say is without a Tracking Number there is nothing we can do! This is total and absolute B.S. As I have worked with Databases for years and I know how simple it is to do a Name lookup! Also, since Tiger Direct prelabled the box, Tiger Direct knows what the Tracking Number is! This is why I did not take down the Tracking Number before I sent the RAM back to you (Tiger Direct).
I am disabled and I do not have the energy left in me to do the dance that Tiger Direct seems to want me to do. Therefore, if anybody out there is hearing what I have said and would be willing to add me to an existing class action suite then I will look forward to hearing from you!
