Consolidate Smart Systems is the only broadband provider in my apartment complex, and they know it.in the nine months I have lived here, my service has been down for 34 days, and I have had to schedule 12 visits from there repair people in 9 months as well.
Each time I call they schedule this apointment, and then the guy comes out and switches out the modem and pretends that this will fix the problem. But I talked to a contractor who worked for the company who said in reality, the company's wiring is old, and everything goes down every time there is any moisture in the ground; the modem switching is just an act.
I have spent countless hours on the phone with these people, and waiting for them to make their ridiculous eight hour apointment windows. They have refused to issue any refunds other than for the exact amount of time the internet was down. As you can imagine, getting a $1.35 off of your $60 bill because your internet comes in and out is not satisfactory.
The people at Consolidated Smart Systems know that I am not able to switch to another broadband provider, and so they are not worried about this issue. I'm writing this to encourage anyone who does have a choice to switch immediately.
