Step 1 The con. Its an internet search dream to good to be true, it is! You see it working so it must be the real deal right, wrong! You want to beat your competitors so you are offered the oportunity to buy keywords, the words that when you search you thinkare going to appear as a banner above the search engine results right, wrong!
For it all to work you have to download an upgrade for your browser on the Top Banner site. What you don't know is that is the only way to see the demo of your key word banner/s. Cunningly Top Banner creates the false impression that your banner will pop up first and be seen first on search engines, if a user types in your reserved key word/s. That was what was supposed to happen, sadly the only mug/s that will ever see your keyword banner is the person who looks back at you each day in the mirror.
Step 2: The traffic numbers that you see when you log to view your sites stats in are fake. We contacted Top Banner, a number of times, when we could make contact and said the hits were not relating to sales. I can only imagine the belly laughs after we had hung up. I'm embarrassed to admit but we purchased over 40 key word names, many thousands and thousands of dollars. Its a learning experience I could have gone through life without. I must admit I had my doubts, but Rick was smooth, no push, no rush just enough.
Step 3: Lesson learned if it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Do not go anywhere near this guy and his many fake names and web sites.
