Scam does not issue refunds!

I placed an order on February 8th. On February 9th I received an e-mail stating that my "New Status: Order Accepted" and that my order was placed on the 9th and not the 8th like when I placed the order.

On February 17th I sent the following e-mail to their "Customer Service" e-mail address:

"Hello, I placed an order with KOS on the 9th of February and have received two e-mails stating order received and order accepted. I have not yet received the product or any further e-mails stating whether the product has been shipped or not. Please let me know the status of my order. Thank You.

Mr. S*"

On February 18th I received the following e-mail:

Thank you for your order status inquiry.

The King of Swords (KOS) website contains more than 7,000 items for our customers. While we do attempt to maintain stock of our most popular items, many of our items are ordered from our suppliers on an "as-needed" basis.

Our website clearly indicates that standard shipping time should be expected within 14 BUSINESS days (we don't work weekends) from the date your order is accepted. We also ask that if you need the item sooner than that you let us know in the comments section of your order.

Your order is currently in our fulfillment que and we will update you as we continue to process your order. We usually ship by USPS and Fedex and will provide tracking information on your order when it is available.

To help us do our best to assist you, please reply to this e-mail address with any question or requests for information on your order.

Thank you for your business.

On February 18th, I sent the following reply:

"I appreciate your detailed response to my question within 24 hours of my request.

The problem I see is that I was not notified that my order contained "out-of-stock" items.By viewing your website and your generated e-mails, there is no way of knowing whether the item is in stock and will be shipped quickly or it's out-of-stock and needs to be ordered from your supplier. I suggest that adding these comments to your generated e-mails and/or your website will assist other potential looking-to-be-satisfied customers, such as myself, in the future.

It is clearly stated on your website your shipping terms on the "Shipping and Returns" portion of your website. I don't normally purchase knives nor am I a supplier for knives so I am unaware of your "Peak" season as those dates are not listed. I would also suggest adding your peak dates and or making the information presented on this mage more clearer so the customer would be more aware before they purchase.

Also, by clicking the button on your website that says, "Order Status" I was directed to '[email protected]', while I am aware, it appears to have nothing to with King of Swords. However, it was labled "Order Status", which is what I was looking for. If you wish for customers to contact you via this e-mail address, it would be a good idea to correct the link and where it goes once it's clicked.

On February 26th I sent the following email:

Due to the amount of time it has taken and lack of communication I am receiving from your company, I wish to cancel my order. Order number is 000000. I also need my credit card refunded in the amount of $24.65, which is the total amount of my order.

Had your website been more clear and up front with shipping and order processing times, I wouldn't have placed an order.

Thank you and I hope to hear from you within 1 business day.

On March 13th, I sent the following e-mail:

"It has now been 10 business days and I still have not received a refund. Please let me know the status of my refund. Thank You.

On March 16th, I received the following e-mail:

On March 31st I sent the following e-mail,

"I still have not received a refund nor an e-mail from you accounting department. Please issue me a refund or my attorney and local law enforcement agency will be notified. I believe that I have been extremely patient in waiting for a refund and my patients are wearing thin. Please contact me via phone to resolve this issue: xxx-xxx-xxxx

I also placed a call to their 1-800 number that day and left two messages that have not been returned.

Here it is now April 7th and I have still not received a refund. I am putting the word out on every website I can to NOT purchase from this company. Had they promptly returned my phone calls, e-mails or just issued me a refund, I would not be doing this. All beware, do not buy from king of swords!!!
