I worked for Global Response Technologies for sometime and soon realized that what I was told to do wasn't what I signed up to do. I took the job for a paycheck and with a genuine desire to help our clients. I was under-trained and over-taxed. I was expected to provide care for any and all clients with issues. Every time I explained to Boris or anyone else that I didn't have enough training to complete the tasks laid out for me I was told of some training meeting at some point in the future that never came or referred to some paltry pamphlet that had more to do with company policy than actual resolution. After being constantly swamped by furious customers (and rightly furious) for weeks on end I realized that this was business as usual. I worked feverishly to address each issue that came across my desk. I was swimming up stream. I could spout off all of the flowery words that I wanted to the client and make all sorts of empty promises but all this would only serve to buy small amounts of time. The whole staff was exhausted buy the influx of complaints and the management, including the owner, were too busy taking a 15 minute smoke break every hour to help us give proper care to our clients. I was constantly asked to lie to clients and make up excuse after excuse. I feel so badly for many of my clients, who were honestly kind and patient people, pouring money into a pit.in spite of all this I tried hard to bail water out of the shipwreck that was/is GRT. Then the checks began to bounce...
Most of us kept working anyway, clinging to hope. Long story short I had to quit when it became evident that we were all working pro bono to support the habits (maybe addictions is a better word) of the companies owner. The company was trying to make sales to pay employee salaries from months past.
I quit and cut my losses as did most everyone else. I personally am still owed thousands by GRT which I highly doubt I will ever see again. I have never worked for a more shady, unethical, unscrupulous company in my life.
My recommendation for anyone looking for web services/solutions... Look elsewhere. I promise, money spent here is money burned.
GRT goes by many names and has many websites. This is so that when one name becomes too tarnished it can be abandoned and the trap can be set at an alternative site and under a differing name.
