I contacted Vividstream on November 13 and wanted to have them design a website for my company. I was told by one of the owners, Robyn Alesich that my website would only take at the maximum 3-4 weeks to build. I was told I needed to pay 1/2 of the cost upfront and then if I was satisfied with the website they would charge my credit card the balance. 1 day after If ordered the website, my credit cards charged $900, the full price of the website. When I contacted Robyn about this she said it was a mistake and would credit it back. It never happened.
Now, I had a bad feeling about this company and quickly tried to call the company as well as sending multiple e-mails to stop working on the website ASAP. This was 10 days after my order. After 2 weeks I finally received any e-mail from Robyn saying that she had a death in her family and couldn't respond to me. She told me that they had already had completed most of my website and I would have to pay for what they did. I asked to see what they had done so far over and over again but never saw one thing.
I continued to inquire about the progress of my website and was put off every time. Finally after several attempts to contact Robyn, she responded to my e-mail saying that I would get a preview of what they had done on my website so far in a couple of days. As each day passed, she kept putting me off. It is now March 21st and I still don't have anything. I did challenge the charge with my credit card company and they did find in my favor and credited the $900 back to my credit card after a long process.
On Monday, a collection agency called my business to let me know that Vividstream turned me over to collections for nonpayment. The charge was $189. I have no idea what this was for and the collection agency couldn't tell me. I never received anything for this company and are not trying to trash my credit.
People should beware of this company and I will make it my mission in life to make sure that this company will never retaliate against another person again.
