I was downloading a free update of acrobat reader 9.
But the site demanded that i sign up for a 1,2 or 3-year technical support period. I checked 1 year, for $12.95.
The next day, i received an e-mail confirming my purchase of 1 year tech support for $34.92
my mastercard got invoiced for $44.52.
The adobe company confirms that adobe reader is absolutely free!
Do not pay anything to download them!
