It was late at night, I had just finished installing Vista on a new hard drive, I went on line to download Acrobat reader. I put something like acrobatreader.com in google and up pops a web address that loooks like acrobat reader.com so I click on it. And it says purchase Acrobat Reader pro with PDF creation and editing for 14.95 and get Windows Office 2008 for free. Well part of me was saying this looked wrong, put the other part was in a hurry and it was an unbelievable deal, so I clicked it, put in my credit card and just as I am clicking the accept button I see in a lower corner a check box that adds another $32 for something else. Too late though, it goes right to the thank you for your payment screen. I was expecting a screen that shows you how much the cost for everthing is but they just skipped that part. I really thought I was at the acrobat store and there is no way they would just take your money and not give you a chance to review your purchase first. Immediately I realized what I had done, I checked out the Acrobat software and its just the free version, but they offer you links to free pdf creation and editing software, and forget about Microsoft office 2008 they only have a link to Open office freeware. And they say you can download Adobe photoshop but its just a trial version.
I emailed the company and they did write back the next day to say there are absolutely no refunds.
