Your Top Brands entices with impressive gifts for their sponsor offers. If you complete offers from several categories, and pay for offers, YTB "promises" your gift will be shipped to you! They assured me they were a "legitimate" company...
I took their offer for a $100.00 Visa gift card, was sent a claim form, told to check their web site for "update" on shipping information. I checked the web site, e-mailed 14 pages of questions over a 2 year period and was constantly delayed, and sent "pat" answers over and over again. The web site always had the same information "Confirmed; to be shipped" dated Dec 28,07.
I received a letter from a different fulfillment company, 01/21/09, that I had successfully met the eligibility and prize requirements and offered a different method to receive my prize. I could go, purchase my own $100.00 Visa gift card, send the signed letter (a requirement that also gave them permission to send additional offers through e-mail, etc.), mail the receipt, signed letter, photo ID, claim form and be re-imbursed up to $100.00 in 6-8 weeks. I decided not to do this and wait for the gift card "to be shipped" as it still stated on my status on YTB's web site as of 03/16.
No place did it say that this would be my ONLY way to receive my gift and that if I did not take this offer in 30 days I would lose my gift. So, much to my surprise, when I e-mailed (again) about my gift I was told I had not submitted to the fulfillment company within 30 days, so I was denied my gift! What a rip off-I was delayed 2 years then (supposedly) given 30 days to submit yet another claim to an entirely different company (pay for my own gift) and "believe" this other company would re-imburse me? And it still says on my status report on YTB's web site, "Confirmed; to be shipped"!! Can you believe it??
