Free 7 day trial gold membership? When REUNION.com died and melted into MyLIFE.com I decided to give CLASSMATES.com a try. Refusing a membership a free 7 day trial was offered and I bit! They charge you credit card $1 to verify, fair enough, but after getting that info ALL HELL DECENDS upon you. The existence of your 7 day GOLD MEMBERSHIP never materializes onsite in your 'My Account" and the access stopped after first log out. They do not acknowledge the credit card info and don't give you gold access THEN they don't acknowledge YOU WANT TO CANCEL! After 7 days you're screwed. Jump through 3 hoops, bark twice and bend over backwards - you're hit for $59 that's $59 my $59. You can't CANCEL, you have to contact MEMBERSHIP SERVICES, send them a letter and NOW I'll probably need to get written permission from my mother and father (dead 20 years) to CANCEL! And REUNION.com, now MyLIFE.com, is even worse!
