For years, I was a loyal member of the site. I had a bank of several thousand points in my account.
However, I suddenly stopped receiving e-mails from them. I did not ask for this to happen, they just stopped sending them. When I realized this a few months later (it shouldn't be up to me to maintain that relationship), I went back to their site, only to find that it had been deactivated.
I contacted them twice to explain what happened, saying I never asked for them to stop e-mailing me, and was met with a canned response saying their policy is to take people's points away
I find it highly suspicious that the company stopped sending me e-mails when I had so many points in my account. It was clearly in their interest to take away my points so I could not redeem them.
I can only wonder how many other people they have done this to. Do they go through and select people to stop sending e-mails to once they have a certain amount, with the hope that they don't notice until it is too late and then they can take the points away?
I wasted a lot of time completing their surveys, and now I am left with nothing. Both survey takers and survey creators should stay far away from Zoompanel and Zoomrewards!
