OnGuard ID stole $28.95 from my bank account. This resulted in a $35 overdraft fee charged by my bank. I have contacted them numerous time sin teh past month to recover my money to no avail. They even gave me a refund code!
I have reported them to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) which works in conjunction with the FBI. I would encourage ANYONE who has been victimized by an illegal ID Theft Prevention company (or any other internet crime) to report it to http://www.ic3. Gov/complaint/default. Aspx
I think if we can get more people to step forward we could get a class action lawsuit filed against whoever the ring leader is and get our money back! I know it sounds crazy, but if you research the web you will see that TONS of people have lost money due to this type of theft. Someone out there is living high off the hog because of 100's of people's $28.95! Please report your internet freud to the website above. It takes 5 minutes.
