My wife purchased an xm satellite radio from best buy in Triadelphia WV. This was a christmas 08 present for me. January 3 09 my wife made the oppointment for installation of the xm radio. Jan 10 09 arrive at best buy for xm radio installation.
Installer Steve pulls my car into the garage hands me a clip board and says fill out the top part. Completed form.
Installer Steve types on the computer and talks with other installer 10 mins or so. Comes back to me and states that he needs a antenna adapter and they do not have any in stock and will need to have one shipped from another store 3-5 days.
I phoned my wife to find out that the installer Steve asked my wife for the make model and year of my car a week ago. So now i am pissed off that i drove 45mins here for nothing. I decide to return the xm radio.
Customer service guy says he can take it but i will be issued a gift card no cash without a receipt. I say fine.
I buy i few wii items with the gift card and have a $60 some dollar balance. Jan 10 return from best buy wife located receipt for xm radio.
Jan 11 return to best buy with receipt to get my 60 some dollars and in looking at the receipt i was shorted 21 dollars total ball park 82 dollars.
Customer service guy brings over manager Megan who looks like she just out out or is still in college says that nothing can be done since 24hours have passed
BS i have the orginial receipt give me my 82 dollars.
My wife asks manager megan to call corporate talks with herb complete idiot no help
Then she is transfered to corporate customer service manager Rob. This guy is a completed DHead no help agrees with manager megan %@nt.
2 days at best buy with about 2 hours of wasted time.
PLEASE NEVER BUY from these idiots. They enforce only the store policies that make them the most money. And screw the customers
Also Geek Squad is a freaking joke high school or college kids. These techs are so underqualified that it is pathetic and overcharge which is no suprise since they work for Best i mean Worst buy.
