According to my local phone provider, "The Billing Resource Company" tagged $18.83 on to my home phone bill whichoriginated with "Enhanced Long Distance Co. Not only were we NOT at in town on the evening of Dec. 11th, but no calls were made or received at the bewitching hour of exactly midnight on Dec. 11th.
Our bill from my local phone provider (Centurytel) stated that this particular discrepancy should be directly handled with The Billing Resource. I called THAT number and was transferred to a company in Florida called Telephone Services who represents ANOTHER company called Integratel.
Supposedly, "someone" was on the web and signed up for an unlimited long distance service. NOT! So, I'm on the phone with this "Telephone Services Co. Rep. Who tells me he will cancel the service "someone" ordered... But it will take several billing cycles to clear this off my bill. He's issuing a "credit" but I may incur some late fees from my local provider. That's crap, I told him.
I am turning this in to my local Wisconsin Better Business Bureau... As I see I'm not the first person to get screwed by this scamming company.
