I inquired about repairing my HP Pavillion laptop. They sent a box to ship my laptop to them. They said it needed and IDE Controller and a part needed sodering.
They have had my laptop since mid April. They indicated the cost of the repair and for additional money they would make a back up disk and extend my warranty for 1 year. To date the still have my laptop even though I have made two email request and registered letter for a refund and return of my laptop. They have not even responded.
I did contact my credit card company and they have withdrawn the funds from this company. I will probably never get the laptop back, but they aren't keeping my money. They are a bunch of theives and liars. They kept telling that the parts were on back order and that they expected them in. That they were finishing the repairs and would be testing to make sure everything was okay. Well this is December 30.
I will never deal with this company again. They claim 90% of business use their service. I hope they aren't waiting 9 months for a repair.
