I ordered two pairs of shoes off of ballroomdancingshoe.com, one for myself and one for my husband in June on the recommendation of a friend. I received one pair of shoes (mine) in the mail, and several days later, I received an email stating that my husband's pair had been backordered and could be expected in mid-August. I decided I didn't want to wait that long for the shoes, and replied both to that email AND generated a new one from the link on their website requesting that my order be cancelled and my money refunded. I never heard back and my money was not refunded.
At this point, I assumed I couldn't cancel the order and would be receiving the shoes.in the beginning of September, I still didn't have the second pair. I sent them another email through the website and received no response. Ten days later, I sent another email, this time threatening to inform the Better Business Bureau. Still no response.
I proceeded to call the phone number listed on the company's website. I was prompted to select between ordering shoes and customer service. I called several times and no matter which option I chose, a recording told me that all lines were busy, and to leave a message and I would receive a call back. Immediately, there was another recording saying the message box was full. I called daily for a week and there was no change.
I filed a complaint through the BBB website and the company never responded. The BBB informed me that they were not an enforcement agency and there was nothing they could do. Bottom line: it has been six months, they have over $60 of my money, and I never received the shoes.
Do not order from this company!!!
