You fine people have made a difference! Rip-off Chaska Minnesota Nationwide. Thank You consumer complaints

Dear Friends,

Last night AT 10:00 PM I watched the Shop NBC program and decided to purchase the V2 Premier computer system. I selected the 17 inch flat panel monitor and my total was $2199.96.

As I and my wife continued to watch the program we decided that the 19 inch flat pannel monitor version of the system was the better system for us. We decided to call back in and Upgrade the system. When I called Shop NBC they gave me a number for the V2 Premier company who's telephone recording at 11:00 PM was that I should call back during normal hours of operation.

At 11:00 AM the following morning I placed my call to V2 Premier and sat on hold for aproximetly 15 minutes. Finally someone did take my call and I began to explain that I was calling to UPGRADE my purchase to the 19 inch monitor. It was explained that the only way to do this was to call Shop NBC and CANCELL my ORIGINAL order and then redo the order at a later date.

Well the interesting thing is that just after haveing the conversation with the gentlmen from V2 Premier I had surfed to there Internet site to see if I could get a better look at the 19 inch flat pannel monitor that I was now trying hard to get.
As I began backing out of there site I accidently came across the link to this site.

Now you have the story! I had to read only the first 3 pages of complaints on V2 Premier to begine writeing down the names and numbers for people YOU have said are at the TOP of management for these companies.

The First person I called was you guessed it (CHAD) at SHOP NBC (800) 747-4178. The phone rang ONLY 1 TIME. I asked for Chad and Chad answered and said that I was speaking to him. I began telling Chad at Shop NBC my story just as I am telling you. How I only wanted to UPGRADE my purchase this morning and how because I purchased at 10:00 PM last night that when I called back within the hour to UPGRADE I could not because the departments were closed. I also explained to Chad how I had called V2 Premiere prior to speaking with him and how they suggested I CANCELL my order and RE-ORDER.

Intrestingly enough because I purchased at 10:00 PM I could not CANCELL my order going through SHOP NBC automated sytem because I would have had to do so last night before 12:00.

Next I explained that I had accidently found THIS FRAUD SITE ON V2 Premier. Now at this point I must tell you (CHAD) is a very well spoken and polite individual - if he were in charge of V2 Premier I have the feeling things wouldnt be so. He did explain that companies with huge outputs in product are going to have some complaints. I explained that I have owned a number of computers and have had problems with them ocasionaly - however I was unwilling to take a $2,500.00 risk or gamble with a company that has so many negative complaints that are unresolved.

He said that he completly understood my reservation and that he would do everything in his power to cancel the transaction - but that if he could not - I could always refuse the product at the door.

I am married with 5 children all below the age of 10. The new system was going to be a perfect fit in our family - I and my wife would have the new system enabeling us to take full advantage of the camera and the picture storage capabilities and the children would have our older COMPAQ, which by the way doesn't look quit so old now (laugh.)

In closing this letter I want to say how sorry I and my wife are for all of you who have been taken in. I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you for posting your NIGHTMARES here. They saved I and my family $2,500.00 dollars today!

In the end you fine people struck a blow today - granted it was a small blow but still it cost V2 Premier $2,500.00 dollars today!

Thanks again to Chuck at SHOP NBC, you were very kind and considerate with me, I hope that you will remember the point I made about finding a company to do business with that doesnt bring your fine company down with it. Chuck you at SHOP NBC have the upper hand - you dictate the rules by which your vendors will operate in your arena. You tell them to fix all the problems, or you are going to cut a deal as soon as possible with a company that will back it's product. You are the POWERHOUSE, SHOP NBC - find the pride in it!

P.S. When you call Chuck at SHOP NBC he knows it's you calling!
