I had several issues with PayPal, the last time that I used them I did not receive the merchandise and filed a credit card dispute with my credit card company because I know that PayPal's usually denies any claims.
The credit card company reversed the charges immediately (I always manually changed the prechecked "debit from bank account" box to "credit card" even after receiving message "are you really surer you want to do this...")
PayPal responded with angry messages telling me to tell the credit card to reverse the reversal. (always automated messages, I tried to reply and my reply bounced back)
Finally they closed my account, I am not even able to use PayPal as a seller. So i continued using ebay offering to pay with money orders, personal checks or cashiers checks. This worked out fine for a while until last month:
Since October there is no more Ebay without PayPal! You have to offer PayPal if you want to sell something on ebay, the only exception are vehicles.
I used to be a Power Seller and ebay received thousands of dollars from me in fees. Obviously they are not interested in my business anymore and hopefully many other customers are getting the message as well. That would probably be the only language that their managers understand.
