While traveling through Saint Louis I signed up for Boingo Wireless at the airport. Boingo advertises that you can log into your Boingo account from any one of their 100,000 locations. The fee for 24hours is $7.95 or you can choose pay a monthly fee. I don't travel enough to pay a monthly fee, so I signed up for 24 hours. When I got my bank statement they ended up charging me $7.95 three times. When I called the number the bank gave me, the man on the phone insisted that the charges where because I logged in once at the Saint Louis Airport and then twice from the Oklahoma City airport. I didn't see where it said anything about a fee per location, just a fee for 24 hours. I finally asked to be connected to a supervisor. The supervisor told me that it was a mistake and they would refund two of the charges. She said that it would take 24 for 48 hours for me to receive my refund. Two weeks later I still have not received my refund. I called and asked them about it and was told that they would re-submit it. I am giving them another 48 hours to refund my money and then I will look into to who I have to report this to. They ripped my boyfriend as well. They charged him 5 times! Don't use Boingo unless you want to pay triple the fee's!!
