I received my phone bill on 12-23-02 and noticed that there was aol online charges added to it. Well I called the company on the same day. When I contacted the company they told me that I verified everything, but the screen name so the company did not consider the acct to be fraud. I finally demanded to speak with a supervisor three times, and still did not get to speak with one. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I did not sign up for the services nor do I want there services. The company is illegally charging my phone bill. I was talking with my phone company and they told me that "they can not charge you for something you did not order that is illegal."
I was on the phone for an 1 1/2 hours trying to get THERE (AOL) problem cleared up. So I told them that I work for a govt agency and told them to place a credit on my phone bill, and don't opened the acct again. Well I recieved my next phone bill on 1-24-03 and found that the company charged my phone bill again.
The charges this time was on 12-20-03 3 days before I spook with them. I called the company and again and a person named mike in WA told me "no further credit is to be issued". I asked to speak with a supervisor and there again would not let me do so. I am very unhappy. I do not want there services, because I have MSN.
I think the company is trying to scam people, thinking that they can get away with it. I have reported them to the FTC, and to the BBB, State AG, and www.fraud.org, FCC and anywhere else I can report this company.
