A while back I enrolled to be in the ACNielsen Homescan program where you scan items you purchase, transfer the information to them, and in turn receive points to redeem for prizes. I was accepted and shipped a package with the scanning equipment. When it arrived, I was out of town. I came home to find I was kicked from their program due to inactivity. I explained I was out of town, they reinstated the account and told me to transmit within 5 days or I'll be booted again. I told them I did not have a cable they said would be in the box. They told me they'd send a new one and that I'd be safe from being punted while I waited for the cable. The cable came and it turns out they kicked me from the program, now saying I must return the equipment, pay about $300 for it, or have the Collection's Agency sent after me... All because THEY failed to properly package the shipment. Great company.
