On this past weekend, I noted a withdrawal of $129 from Consumer Network. I did not recognize this company nor did I recall buying anything on the date of withdrawal or just prior to the withdrawal.
I called the bank on Mon. Got a hold put on my debit card and they gave me the number to call these people as I had no idea who they were.
They told me I had ordered a card from them in which there would be a $100 rebate. I told them that no I did not order this and I do not want this service.
Instead of crediting it back to my account as most places do, they told me to expect a refund check in the mail in five to seven days.
I faintly remember that I may have opened up one of those ads for buying items at a discount price;but, I did not fill out any information.
The only way they could have accessed my information is hacking into it somehow as I have bought some items over the internet.
I do not know what city or state they are from. The webpage does not give out that information. I got the number from my bank when they made the withdrawal
